DR. ASHA WISE

Dr. Wise opened Monroe Animal Care Hospital in April 1999 after working in private practice for 10 years. A Savannah, Georgia native, Dr. Wise discovered her passion for veterinary medicine at 15 while working at her first veterinary hospital. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree with honors in biology from the University of Georgia followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989.

For over 25 years, Dr. Wise has cherished the bonds she's built with pet owners and their beloved animals in the Monroe community. Her special interests include dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. Dr. Wise supports the Walton County Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Monroe Development Authority, On Stage Walton Playhouse, as well as local schools and sports teams. Dr. Wise partners with several local animal welfare organizations including AHIMSA House and Pound Puppies 'N Kittens. 

Dr. Wise resides in Monroe with her husband, David, a math teacher and head swim coach at Loganville High School. They are members of  St. Anna's Catholic Church and have three adult children. Their home is shared with three dogs and three cats.
