DR. LISA NILSEN 

Dr. Nilsen grew up in Atlanta and studied Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Georgia prior to her admission to the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Nilsen specializes in Ultrasonography and Internal Medicine, making her a valuable asset to the MACH team. Coincidentally, Dr. Nilsen, Dr. Wise, and Dr. Durrence all graduated from the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine class of 1989!

When not at the clinic, you can find Dr. Nilsen reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. Her favorite author is James Patterson. Dr. Nilsen and her husband have 2 children in college and are parents to many rescue animals: 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 3 foster kittens!
